I come  from a part of  Ukraine that has been a historical and  cultural borderland of peoples  and  cultures. Given this, I  have a natural inclination  to come  to terms  and to understand as well as   feel the  cultural identify of peoples  and their  habitat.
During  the the  2003-2011  time  period I studied painting and  developed  various artistic genres.
Today, I  get creative inspiration from travels abroad, but  especially   from the  Hutsul culture, the ancient  inhabitants of  the  Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains. Not  surprisingly  my   current  artistic  genre  focuses on the   emotive    aspects as found  inthe  archeology,  folklore, crafts and music  of various  peoples in the  world, but most especially,  the Hutsuls. In my  art work I  attempt  to convey a meaning, attempt to tell a  story or  a myth, in such a way that the  viewer can easily relate  to it.
My  media is acrylic and oil  paint on wood and  canvas.
In addition to painting, I also conduct workshops  for children and  adults
